Quectel BG951 CAT M1 NB-IoT Module BG951AGLAA-N06-SGNSA

The BG951 is a series of ultra-compact LPWA modules with an integrated GNSS engine that supports LTE Cat M1 and LTE Cat NB1/NB2* bands. It is fully compliant with the 3GPP E-UTRA Release 13/14 specification and provides global carrier band combinations.

The series features the MIPS 5150 processor and ultra-low power consumption by leveraging the integrated RAM and flash to achieve extremely low current consumption in various standby/hibernation modes, including 3GPP PSM and eDRX. The BG951 also contains a GNSS and cellular-based location engine that supports GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, Beidou, and QZSS. BG951  also boasts a comprehensive hardware-based security feature – Integrated Security Elements (ISE).

With an ultra-compact SMT form factor of 23.6mm ×19.9mm × 2.2mm and a high integration level, the series enables integrators and developers to design applications easily leveraging its low power consumption and compact structure. The BG951’s advanced LGA package allows for fully automated manufacturing required for large-scale applications. A rich set of Internet protocols, industry-standard interfaces, and abundant functionalities allows the series to serve a wide range of IoT applications, such as wireless POS, smart metering, tracking, wearable devices, and many more.
